Thank you Edwards® Desserts for sponsoring this post. Head to the frozen desserts aisle of your grocery store to pick up your favorite Edwards pie and make entertaining a breeze!

Host a holiday party in your home with these Christmas Dessert Bar ideas!

I cannot believe we are already planning for the holidays! This past weekend, we finally had our first cool day outside, so it was definitely a reminder that Fall was here. Between Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, and the New Year, there’s so much coming up on our schedule! The fun part of any holiday gathering is planning a menu {I got a little help from the frozen section of my grocery store} and selecting the appropriate decorations. I went with a gold, black, and navy theme, with simple items like disposable paper plates, cups, napkins, and plasticware, a gold “Happy Holidays” banner, gold holiday lights, gold bows, a navy-colored table runner, and a black tablecloth.

I purchased Edwards Desserts for this delicious dessert bar. EdwardsCrème Pies are made of decadent, creamy layers in a tasty cookie crumb crust. What’s great about these desserts is that you can store them in the freezer and thaw them just minutes before your guests arrive. No preparation needed! The Crème Pies are available in the following varieties:

  • Edwards Hershey’s Chocolate Crème Pie
  • Edwards Pumpkin Crème Pie
  • Edwards Turtle Pie
  • Edwards Key Lime Pie

The Edwards Hershey’s Chocolate Crème Pie was my personal favorite – I love a delicious chocolate crème pie! It has layers of chocolate and vanilla crème topped with chocolate pieces, chocolate drizzle, and whipped crème rosettes in a chocolate cookie crumb crust. I also selected a Turtle Pie, because who doesn’t love a caramel pie topped with chocolate, pecans, and whipped crème rosettes on a chocolate cookie crumb crust?  Edwards Desserts makes delicious thaw-and-serve pies that can be found at your local grocery store in the frozen dessert section. These pies can easily be removed from their tins to enhance the appearance of your Christmas Dessert Bar.

To make sure the flavors of the pies shine through – I kept my drink selection simple: a nice pitcher of ice water! You can also ask your friends to bring their own beverages if they want something special. I think this party would be super fun a few weeks before the holidays. You can get your girlfriends together for a Christmas gift-wrapping party, enjoy some tasty desserts, listen to Christmas carols, and talk the night away!
