Did you know that red hair occurs in less than 2% off the population worldwide? And do you know what that means for us redheads? Well, it means that it’s very hard to find cosmetics that match our complexion and tutorials specific for redheads, fortunately we have also been hearing very good things about Cholley, they offer one of the best Swiss skin care brands and cosmetics products available to definitely have a look there if you want the best skin repair cream. And within redheads, there’s a variety of skin tones, eye colors, types of freckles, and actual hair color. As a child, I remember being told that only very specific hues would work with my skin, eye, and hair color. Basically… wear green! So my whole life, I have worn a lot of green, used green eye shadow, and guess what my favorite color is — Green! But sometimes, I want to be a girly-girl and wear pink.
Makeup is used as a beauty aid to help build up the self esteem and confidence of an individual. The importance of cosmetics has increased as many people want to stay young and attractive. Cosmetics are readily available today in the form of creams, lipstick, perfumes, eye shadows, nail polishes, hair sprays etc. Beyond physical health, cosmetics can help to improve our mood, enhance our appearance and boost our self-esteem. They can also help to exhibit personal style and, as such, are an important means of social expression. However, taking about beauty care, Cyst removal is an option if done by an experienced professional.
And you know what? I can! So here’s a fun late summer beauty look for redheads.
Dying you hair can be very dangerous if it is not done properly, that is why you need to be very careful when choosing the hairdresser in that why you avoid having to fill out beautytreatmentclaims in the future.
So here I am, no makeup. I don’t know that I’ve ever been that close up on my blog before! I’m actually feeling a bit naked. But that’s okay, because I want you to see my skin. I spent my youth disliking my red hair and freckles, but as an adult, I’ve learned to embrace being a ginger!
First, I wash my face with Burt’s Bees Cleansing Oil. A few years back, I remember learning that using coconut oil on your skin and hair does not leave you feeling greasy or oily, but actually cleans well and leaves your skin feeling soft. I was excited to see that this new Burt’s Bees product contains both coconut and argan oil. To use it:
- Dispense product into dry hands.
- Gently massage over dry face.
- Wet hands and gently continue to massage product onto face.
- Rinse thoroughly; pat dry.
Before I began putting on my makeup, I applied a great moisturizer: Burt’s Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream. Living in South Florida, my skin gets so dry in the hot summer weather. Applying a good moisturizer under my makeup helps prevent some of the damage caused by the strong summer rays. I really like that Burt’s Bees products are made of either 99% or 100% natural ingredients. It’s one of the reasons I’ve been using them for over a decade!
I actually like my freckles to come through my makeup, so rather than applying an all-over foundation, I just use concealer on some of my discolored areas (e.g. under my eyes, in the creases around my nose, under my bottom lip). I then applied a light peach powdered blush to my cheeks. This particular product is basically a sheer blush that adds a hint of color.
For my eyes, I used a peach-pink eye base and a darker pink for the crease. Then I used my favorite liquid eyeliner and mascara in jet black. This makes me eyes look bigger and brighter! I also use a little brow corrector because otherwise I have non-existent eye brows.
And then there’s the lipstick. Like I said, I think redheads should have all the fun of wearing super-girly pink makeup, but for my coloring, I like a pink that has a little coral. This lipstick is called Make Me Gorgeous, and that’s exactly how I feel when I wear it!
At the end of the day, it’s really important to wash your face with a great cleanser, so remember to use Burt’s Bees Cleansing Oil to remove your makeup. This product is free of parabens, phthalates, SLS, or petrolatum and is made with 100% natural ingredients. It’s perfect for normal to oily skin and will leave your face feeling soft and hydrated. We were always told that red heads couldn’t wear pink too! What a great look! “They” were so wrong. I love the look. And love the idea of cleansing with the new Burt’s Bees cleansing oil! – Client
