This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Milo’s Tea, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #TastetheMilosDifference  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

In Florida, summer weather basically begins in March, when temperatures soar into the 90s. That means if you’re going to spend time outdoors, you need to grab a refreshing beverage and some tasty snack foods. To set up this little mid-day tea time, I covered a small table with a picnic tablecloth perfect for May, with green and yellow plaid.

Milo's Table

I set up a delicious little iced tea picnic in my yard with Milo’s Cafe Style Tea in two varieties: Sweet Tea and Green Citrus Tea. The Green Citrus Tea was my favorite! It’s the perfect blend of sweetness and citrus flavors. These new teas are affordable, organic, and are fresh brewed with no added preservatives, additives, or acids. The teas are brewed from USDA Certified organic tea leaves. These two varieties are also available in a light version, made with a mix of organic cane sugar and stevia.

Snacks are essential during a backyard tea time. These little open-face cucumber tea sandwiches are the best! Simply remove the crust from your favorite multigrain bread, add a smear of herb cream cheese, alfalfa sprouts, and thinly-sliced seedless cucumbers. You can also add sliced turkey breast to make a more complete bite.

Iced tea bites

Paired with the cucumber sandwiches was a refreshing fruit salad, made with seasonal fruits. I combined sliced watermelon, kiwi, and blueberries and served. Simple and delicious (colorful, too)!

Be sure to add a stack of napkins and small bowls or plates to your tea time tablescape. Now it’s time to share a yummy drink and tasty snacks with a friend! Put on your tank top, shorts, and flip flops, grab your sunglasses, and relax on a lounge chair with friends to enjoy this mid-day tea time.

Iced tea and bites

These are the perfect bites and drinks to enjoy time with friends and family in the sunny summer weather!

I shopped at my local Whole Foods store for Milo’s Cafe Style Tea. I found it in the refrigerated juice and dairy section due to the tea being all natural. Looking to find Milo’s Cafe Style Tea in your area? Check out the store locator.

How do you celebrate the summer outdoors with your friends and family?
