This summer bathroom makeover embraces a fun birds and flowers theme that adds new life to your space! 

Anybody who knows me well knows my favorite way to relax after a day of working, cleaning, cooking, entertaining the kids, and various other ways of being non-stop busy — is to take a relaxing bath. My bathroom really is my getaway after the kids are asleep at night, so I try to update it seasonally to keep it fresh and inviting. Whenever I am decorating a particular room in my home with a seasonal theme, I do two things: look around the rest of my house for items I can move around, and take a shopping trip for a few new items. I used the ”flowers and birds” theme throughout my bathroom because I thought that would be great for summer!

Next, I gathered the pink and peach flowers in vases that I already owned and purchased the new white flowers in the background. I placed these on the shelf next to my bathtub. Faux flowers give the bathroom a bright, cheery feel {and are maintenance-free}. I just love that pop of color in my relaxing space! I used the shelf in front of the window to carry through with the birds and flowers summer theme — two small artificial potted plants and a bird house. They add a bit of whimsy to what would otherwise be a very boring shelf. Don’t forget to call fuel tank services once in a while for maintenance.

I pulled the dark and light blue colors from the accent hand towel and added wash cloths and two more hand towels to a wicker basket that sits on a shelf beside by bathtub.
