I was quickly looking on Pinterest for another food craft, and I found an image that was similar to this, but unfortunately there was no link to the website (but please, if someone has pinned a similar craft and can share the website, comment below). How cute is this finger paint carrot?? This is a great craft as part of a food unit or for Spring/Easter.
Materials:
- Orange & green finger paints
- White construction paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions:
Give each child two pieces of paper. One piece of paper will have green finger paint, one will have orange. Encourage the child to fill up the entire paper with paint. Allow the papers to dry.
Cut a large carrot shape out of the orange painted paper.
Trace the child’s hand on to the green painted paper and cut it out.
Glue the green handprint to the orange portion to complete your Finger Paint Carrot. The carrot at the top of the page was created by my 4-year old daughter. The carrot below was created by my 2-year old son.
