- One 6-ounce package of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 T grated parmesan cheese
- 2 T fresh parsley
- Flour for dusting
Cheesy Turkey Pull-Apart Bread Directions
The first step in making this recipe is to thaw the frozen dough. These small frozen yeast dinner rolls usually come in a large bag in the frozen section of your grocery store. When the dough is still cold by pliable, roll each separate piece of dough to about a 1-inch thick disk. I needed to flour my cutting board and rolling pin to make sure it would not stick.
Use butter to grease the bottom and sides of a baking dish. Place 12 pieces of the rolled-out dough along the bottom. If you are using a larger dish, you may need an additional row of flattened dough.
Next, spread the half cup of pesto over the dough. If you do not like pesto, you can do a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper to season the bread. The basil in the pesto adds an amazing herbaceous flavor to the dish that I just love. Shred the sliced turkey breast and spread it over the pesto. Then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the turkey.
Place another layer of the rolled out dough over the shredded cheese, and set the entire baking dish aside for 3 hours so that the dough can rise. I recommended keeping it in a warm place – a microwave that is not in use is a great location! Just before the 3-hour mark, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add 3 cloves of crushed garlic. Brush this mixture over the top. Once the oven is preheated to 350 degrees F, add your dish of pure deliciousness and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tops are a beautiful golden brown. Remove them from the oven, brush an additional tablespoon of melted butter over the top, then sprinkle on the 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley and 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese. Your Cheesy Turkey Pull-Apart Bread is ready to serve! This can be prepared earlier in the day and reheated for your celebration!
