Lydia is entering 4th grade, which is a serious transition into being a tween. She turns 10-years-old this September {I cannot believe I just wrote that}, so heading back to school in just a few weeks requires lots of planning! Now that she’s maturing, I like to guide her in making decisions about her unique style. Let her choose her own clothing.
Lydia is definitely a little fashionista! Even though she is turning 10-years-old, she’s petite, so she wears a size 7 clothing. That doesn’t stop her from selecting lots of fun girls activewear for the upcoming school year. I want to make sure she feels mature in what she wears while selecting age-appropriate styles. She loves longer shirts and leggings, overalls with sleeveless shirts, and dresses. She also likes to wear sporty sneakers with mismatched socks! Teach her to care for her hair.
Lydia began last school year with longer hair, but throughout the year, she asked us for multiple haircuts. Now it sits just below her shoulder, and she wants to get a trim before school begins.
