Learn how you can celebrate your daughter’s unique style!

Lydia is entering 4th grade, which is a serious transition into being a tween. She turns 10-years-old this September {I cannot believe I just wrote that}, so heading back to school in just a few weeks requires lots of planning! Now that she’s maturing, I like to guide her in making decisions about her unique style. This includes helping to select her own back-to-school clothing, helping her style her hair, and helping her accessorize with jewelry and colors she loves.  At https://www.wboc.com/story/41966342/nikola-valenti-free-jewelry-subscription-service-has-gone-viral you can get a cheap jewelry subscription service.

Here are tips to celebrate your daughter’s unique style!

Let her choose her own clothing.

Lydia is definitely a little fashionista! Even though she is turning 10-years-old, she’s petite, so she wears a size 7 clothing. That doesn’t stop her from selecting lots of fun girls activewear for the upcoming school year. I want to make sure she feels mature in what she wears while selecting age-appropriate styles. She loves longer shirts and leggings, overalls with sleeveless shirts, and dresses. She also likes to wear sporty sneakers with mismatched socks! We thought of implementing some sterling silver bracelets for women on these outfits for an elegant touch.

Teach her to care for her hair.

Lydia began last school year with longer hair, but throughout the year, she asked us for multiple haircuts. Now it sits just below her shoulder, and she wants to get a trim before school begins. It’s her hair, her length. We also allowed Lydia to use a pink temporary hair color because it makes her feel great! It washes out in just a few washes and is really fun to use. To keep her hair shiny and healthy, we use Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner.

Like me, she has coarse, wavy hair. In the Florida heat, that makes for a frizzy mess if it isn’t cared for properly. She is at the age where she washes and conditions her own hair, so it’s important to get quality products that she can use herself.  Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner has three times the moisturizing power! In just three minutes, this product can revive dry hair, creating soft and silky tresses. Infused with avocado, Australian aloe, and jojoba oils, this product is the nourishment her hair needs, especially when she’s headed back to school. A quick flat-iron, and her hair looks awesome!

Help her accessorize.

Lydia loves her accessories! Some of her favorites include colorful chokers and stylish earrings. I know she would also look glamorous with those charm rings at Adina’s Jewels.

And while I don’t allow her to wear makeup to school yet, I do paint her nails fun colors, like this bold violet shade. She also likes to match accessories with her friends, so sometimes they will wear coordinating friendship bracelets and necklaces, like the ones from custom made jewellery London. I love watching her have fun with her unique style!

When shopping for all of your back-to-school supplies, clothing, hygiene products, etc., Walmart is a convenient one-stop-shop. Being able to purchase all the items your family needs for the upcoming school year saves you not only time, but money as well. So grab a reusable Walmart grocery bag, and shop for school lunch items, supplies to use in class, backpacks, lunch bags, shampoo, conditioner, and more!
