These Valentine’s Day Care Package ideas are perfect for your sister or best girlfriend!
My sister Jamie and I have always been very close, despite the fact that we live about 4 hours away from each other now. We get to visit each other every 2 -3 months, talk on the phone a few times a week, and text each other daily. I’m not sure when we will see each other again, as she visited us in November and we visited her in December, so I decided to put together a Valentine’s Day care package to send her in the mail. I hope she loves the items I selected for her!

Items to place in the Valentine’s Day Care Package:
- Framed photo of the two of us
- Sparkly red heart decoration
- Bag of heart-shaped sour gummy candies
- Valentine’s themed coffee mug
- Set of three pink/red scented markers
- Facial mask
- Two *perfect* Hallmark cards
Assembling the Valentine’s Day Care Package:
I began by purchasing this large heart-shaped cardboard box that I can easily pack inside a shipping box. I filled the box with dark pink and red tissue paper. This box is great for re-purposing after. It can be used to store accessories, photographs, even greeting cards. It’s fun to pack a gift in a reusable container!
To go with Jamie’s gift, I purchased two perfect Hallmark Cards at Walmart because I just could not decide which to get! Non-romantic cards can be a challenge to find for Valentine’s Day, but Hallmark’s Signature Cards and Hallmark Paper Wonder Cards have so many great options. A card is such a wonderful way to personalize a gift, and these cards are so beautiful, I know she’ll want to display them!
Next, I added some little gifts I knew she’d love. Sour gummy candies are some of her favorites. She loves coffee, so I thought this red heart mug would be perfect! And then the little touches, like the facial mask, scented markers, and shirt were fun items I thought she’d like.
To add to the personalization of the gift, I purchased a small picture frame and printed this selfie of us from last March. Jamie is a runner, so we did the St. Patrick’s Day 5K together in Fort Lauderdale while I was visiting. I added the cute “hello” sign as a finishing touch to the items in the box.
Now, back to the cards… How awesome is this pop-up Valentine’s Day bouquet card? It would look great as a festive decoration on a dining room table, counter, or mantle. The other card was really sweet, too. It said “Just a little reminder that you are loved”. I hope this gift makes her feel that way!
Head to select Walmart locations where you can find Hallmark Paper Wonder Cards and Hallmark Signature Cards down the greeting card aisle. What I love about the Paper Wonder Cards is that each card folds out to become a displayable valentine. Check out these three offers to save on your Valentine’s Day gifts:
