This Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Rosé Margarita is the perfect summer cocktail!
This recipe is inspired by one of my absolute favorite cocktails, Ina Garten’s Pink Grapefruit Margarita, with a fun, bubbly twist! What’s awesome about margaritas is the perfect balance between tartness, sweetness, and saltiness. When you add a little Sparkling Rosé, it adds a lightness to it, great for enjoying a cocktail in the warmer months. There are a few variations to this drink you may enjoy more. I served this Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Rosé Margarita in small margarita glasses, but you can also serve on the rocks in a larger glass to keep your beverage cool. It would also make a great blended drink, if you prefer a frozen margarita. And to sweeten it up, cover the rim of your glass with sugar rather than Himalayan pink salt. This recipe makes two servings.
Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Rosé Margarita ingredients:
- Juice of one red grapefruit
- Juice of one lime
- 1/4 cup Triple Sec
- 1/4 cup tequila
- Sparkling rosé
- Ice
- Pink Himalayan salt
Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Rosé Margarita directions:
Begin by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim of your margarita glass. Coat the rim of your glass in pink Himalayan salt {goes great with the pink grapefruit and rosé color of the cocktail. In a shaker, combine the juice of one grapefruit, juice of one lime, Triple Sec, tequila, and ice. Shake away to both combine and chill this mixture. Pour the mixture into your margarita glass, filling it about 2/3 of the way up. Top the margarita with sparkling rosé to give it that extra little bubbly kick and serve immediately!
