While in Kentucky, I decided — why not visit Indianapolis? It was about a 2 hour 15 minute drive to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, the largest in the world. At 5 stories high, I wouldn’t argue that fact! The bottom level was an awesome dinosaur exhibit. Here’s Lydia dressed as a paleontologist. (Gotta love the facial expression!)
And here she is dressed as a dinosaur, sitting on her eggs.
This part was really cool. The kids actually got to excavate for dinosaur bones.
I liked this train…well, because it had our last name! They had lots of different toy trains to see in this section of the museum.
This was part of an underwater exploration exhibit. Lydia got to try on a scuba diving outfit.
There were lots of different interactive cultural exhibits for the children to explore.
They liked this Egypt exhibit.
The kids enjoyed sitting in this race car.
The museum had a special room for young children. Bryce really liked this sand area.
Bryce also had fun using shovels to dig through mulch in this construction exhibit.
And of course, what child doesn’t love water play??
The kids had a full day of fun at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum!
