Sometimes the fanciest-sounding desserts have the simplest recipes. Enter this Cookies and Cream Affogato. An affogato is really just two simple ingredients: ice cream + coffee. There are lots of ways to make this a more complex dessert, though. Traditionally, vanilla ice cream is used, but other ice cream flavors would help add complexity to this simple dish. That’s why I selected this new Breyers® delights Cookies and Cream. Not only is it delicious {cookies and cream happens to be one of my favorite flavors}, but the entire container, which includes three servings, is only 330 calories and contains 20 grams of protein. That means you can stick to your “New Year, New Me” resolutions while enjoying a tasty treat.
