Spring Painting Outdoors

Share

Lydia and I both love arts & crafts. I wanted to do something a little different one day recently, so I brought her easel and paints outdoors. I told her to paint what she saw. I gave her four different paint colors (red, blue, yellow, and green) and a sponge brush for each one. It was a dreary day, but here’s what she made!

It’s fun to take an indoor project outdoors – and then display the artwork indoors! This was actually one of the ideas I wrote about in my Spring ‘Green it ~ Clean it’ post. I may have to do this again on a smaller piece of paper so I can easily frame it to make artwork for our home.
